The structural steelwork is nearly complete on the new FIT academic building. The photo on the left is the crane finishing up the 8th floor. The picture on the right is from when the steel erection first began! This multi-million dollar project will transform the college’s identity at West 28th Street.
The new 10-story LEED building extends off the existing Feldman Building. The building includes smart classrooms, studios, student assembly spaces, and administrative offices. The exterior of the building features a multi-dimensional unitized curtain wall system.
