Fashion Institute of Technology's new ten-story academic building at 220 West 28th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan, is approaching completion with the installation of its multi-dimensional unitized curtain wall system on the upper facade. This transformative addition to FIT's campus will redefine the college's presence on West 28th Street.
The LEED Certified building extends from the existing Feldman Building and offers a range of modern facilities, including smart classrooms, studios, student assembly spaces, and administrative offices. Reflecting FIT's inclusivity, exploration, and intellectual exchange values, the design aims to invigorate West 28th Street, bringing light and vitality to the surrounding area.
