Leading By Example: Culver Yard Kicks Off the Mission Series
We’re proud to announce the successful launch of Forte Construction’s Mission Series, with the Culver Yard project team leading the way! Under the guidance of Project Managers Peter Mione and Fadomba Matturi, the team chose to support the Long Island State Veterans Home (LISVH) by sponsoring a special movie outing for our veterans.
A Day at the Movies
The Culver Yard team didn’t just provide tickets – they showed up and shared the experience. Team members accompanied veterans to a screening of the heartfelt film ‘Bob Travino Likes It,’ creating genuine connections beyond a simple donation. Some team members even brought their own veteran family members along, adding another meaningful dimension to the day.
“Seeing the smiles on the veterans’ faces as we enjoyed the movie together was incredibly rewarding,” said Peter Mione. “This wasn’t just about giving back – it was about spending quality time with heroes who have given so much for our country.”
