This year's National Intern Day celebration at Forte was a resounding success, filled with opportunities for learning, networking, and fun. Hosted at our Islandia Headquarters, the event aimed to integrate our interns into the Forte family while showcasing the vibrant culture that sets us apart.
The day began with a welcome breakfast, where interns had the chance to mingle with full-time employees. This environment provided the perfect opportunity for our interns to connect with colleagues and learn the ins and outs of our company!
Following breakfast, the interns took a tour of our headquarters where they learned the layout of the building, how the different departments work together, as well as the rich history and evolution of Forte. Our team proudly showcased the milestones and innovations that have shaped the company, offering the interns a deeper understanding of the values and vision driving us forward.
One of the day's highlights was the 'speed networking' session, where interns rotated through brief, insightful conversations with each other. They discussed their backgrounds, exchanged experiences, and shared their thoughts on the internship program. This fast-paced networking format not only facilitated new connections but also provided a platform for interns to learn more about each other's roles and experiences within Forte.
An informal chat and Q&A session with Forte's owners added another layer of engagement. This open dialogue allowed interns to ask questions about the company's vision, gain insights into leadership perspectives, and engage in meaningful conversations about their futures.
After the Q&A, the interns and employees enjoyed lunch together. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and camaraderie, and a touch of competitive foosball. The day continued with a spirited game of Forte Trivia. Interns tested their knowledge about the company's history, achievements, and fun facts learned throughout the day, giving them a chance to win exciting prizes! As the event came to a close, we were thrilled to have witnessed the fostered connections and learning that ensued for our newest team members.
