Friday morning attendees and speakers celebrated the grand opening of Forte Construction Corp’s most recent project, Nostrand Avenue Station. This station now features two ADA accessible elevators. These elevators make the station truly accessible to all who live, who work and travel through the thriving neighborhood. Additional updates included the canopies over the platforms, new yellow warning strips on both platforms to prevent commuters from getting too close to the tracks, and a glass art installation by local artist Derrick Adams.
