The installation of the PS-487 foundation grade beams and pile caps is complete! The focus now is on completing underground mechanical & electrical systems.
The four story pre-kindergarten through 5th-grade school will educate over 500 students in the Bronx. The fully air-conditioned building will contain four pre-kindergarten classrooms, three kindergarten classrooms, and fifteen standard classrooms.
The building will also have a District 75 special education component consisting of eight classrooms, two speech/resource rooms, and occupational & physical therapy rooms. It is expected to be completed by the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
